Colorado Hydrogen Day
The Colorado Hydrogen Network is sponsoring a first annual “Colorado Hydrogen Day” on Sunday October 6th, from 10 AM to 5 PM. This event will give the public, the media, legislators and state officials a chance to see first-hand the progress that has been made in Colorado to deploy the hydrogen ecosystem and to learn why hydrogen is an essential component needed to help eliminate greenhouse gases from our energy sectors.
The all-day event will include an Exhibit Hall with booths by 20 to 30 companies and organizations (NREL, CDOT, CO Energy Office, CSU, etc). We’re inviting Will Toor, the Governor, legislators and the media. There will also be an outdoor exhibit with hydrogen EV’s and a hydrogen Class-8 Truck and a mobile hydrogen fueler built and operating in Colorado. The event will be at the lovely “Hydro” building on the CSU Spur campus at the National Western Center.
The event will feature:
– An Exhibit Hall showcasing the companies, vehicle operators, universities and organizations that are contributing to the hydrogen ecosystem in Colorado.
– An outdoor display of fuel cell passenger cars by Toyota and Hyundai, a Nikola Class-8 truck and an ElektrikGreen mobile hydrogen refueler – all operating today in Colorado.
– A “Press Room” for a one-hour briefing by state officials to the media, legislators and Exhibitors about the hydrogen progress that has already been made, and coming plans for hydrogen in Colorado.
– Information about the public hydrogen fuel stations coming to the Front Range in 2025.
– Dozens of posters displayed throughout the venue educating about hydrogen and answering frequently asked questions
Food and drink will be available from the “Western Daughters Kitchen” in the Hydro Building lobby. Parking and admission are free.
